Usage
■·Low-voltage short-circuit impedance measurement is a basic item in conventional test items. The short-circuit impedance value measured before and after the transformer is impacted by the short-circuit current is compared. According to the magnitude of the change, the degree of winding deformation can be estimated. The impedance change between the transformer and the initially tested low-voltage short-circuit impedance after the short-circuit current impact should not exceed 2%.
■·The low-voltage short-circuit impedance tester is the most direct way to identify whether the transformer is impacted by short-circuit current during operation, or the transformer is impacted by mechanical force during transportation and installation, and to check whether the winding is deformed. It is important for judging whether the transformer can be put into operation. Significance is also one of the basis for judging whether the transformer requires disassembly inspection.
