Usage

The CTT series water-insulated cable test terminations are used to test extruded insulation HV cables.The termination and water conditioning unit are suitable for the test:

Partial discharge test

AC withstand test

Lightning impulse/Switching impulse voltage test

Dielectric loss&Tan delta measurement

Breakdown test

General specification of the water termination

 

The termination is suitable for power cables delivery test,type test and qualification test  

The termination is designed for indoor use

The termination consists of 2sets of terminal tubes and one deionizer water conditioning unit

The termination is suitable for XLPE power cable testing of 500kV and below voltage

Remote control is available

Before operating,please make sure every unit is safety earthing

The termination is removable,convenient for testing

Deionizer resin can be replaced on site

There is emergency button,user can press it when emergency occurs to keep safety

Electric sensor can supervise the temperature,pressure,flow velocity and water electrical conductivity

Sensor supply 4-20mA signal to feed programmable processor,the operation mode will display on the control panel

 

 

Water conditioning unit parameter

The water conditioning unit is used to remove the heat generated by the current flowing through the water and deionizer the water that circulates through the termination.

 

Resistance coefficient of the water in conditioning unit >2MΩ-cm

When water temperature is higher than 40,the external cooking system will work properly

When system cannot circulate/work,please check water level,it is designed not working when water level is low
